Simon with composer Charles Strouse

I recently performed in a concert of Charles Strouse’s early classical compositions.  Strouse is best known for his Broadway work, including Bye Bye Birdie and Annie.  Strouse also performed some of his songs, such as “Put on a Happy Face” and “Tomorrow”.

The Boston Musical Intelligencer wrote a review of the event, referring to the performers as “Longy’s best students” and gave special mention to Chris Orzech’s “delightful” performance (well done, Chris).
